Customer Profile 

The customer is a well-known BFSI company in India with a turnover of $408 million. They represent a new class of insurance providers. Their goal is to meet the varied financial needs of Indian consumers. 

Challenges Faced 

The customer used AWS for their data center and disaster recovery. But they relied on manual deployment. This raised their AWS bills and slowed operations. 

Their data warehouse also failed. The reason was a wrong integration in AWS Glue. 

Security and compliance were another concern. Manual operations created gaps. The customer wanted automation with strong security for all tasks.

Teleglobal’s Solution 

Teleglobal introduced a complete CICD pipeline for deployments. We used AWS CodePipeline to create a CICD workflow on ECS. This streamlined DevOps work and reduced human errors.  

We rebuilt the data warehouse with AWS Glue at a lower cost. This ensured smooth operations and proper data management.  

To support continuous operations, our 30 engineers now work in a 24×7 model. They manage and monitor the entire AWS infrastructure for the customer. 

Security Measures 

Security was treated as a priority. Teleglobal used AWS KMS and SSE-S3 to encrypt data at rest.  

For monitoring and analysis, we used several AWS Managed services

  • Amazon CloudWatch tracked CPU, memory, and network use. Alerts triggered via SNS when limits were crossed. 
  • AWS CloudTrail logged changes to AWS resources. Logs were stored in S3 for audits. 
  • Access Control was handled with MFA and least privilege rules. 
  • CloudWatch Dashboards provided real-time views of system performance. 
  • CloudWatch Log Insights helped diagnose issues by analyzing log patterns. 

To improve security further, we set up automated checks. A Lambda function deleted access keys if they were compromised.  

Results Achieved  

The customer moved to a complete DevOps model. Deployments and tests became faster, more reliable, and automated.
