Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- CCNP certification and equivalent
- Solid hands-on Cisco product configuration using IOS, Nexus, ACI, CSP, Firepower
- Solid hands-on on the following LAN/WAN Protocols and technologies: (TCP/IP, Multicast,
Ethernet, VPN, MPLS, Wireless) - Solid hands-on following routing & bridging protocols: (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, Ether-channel)
- Should have experience on Switching
- Working knowledge of core networks, transport, internet, and firewall platforms
- Hands-on on Enterprise Wireless Technologies, Remote Access VPN, SSL, Python Scripting,
Encryption, DDoS methodology - Hands-on Firewall Platform such as Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco Products, Juniper
- Solid hands-on experience on Edge Connect and other equivalent network virtualization products
- Basic Linux shell commands
- knowledge about SD-WAN, must have knowledge and experience of troubleshooting issue.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Analyze and provide problem resolution to ensure timely delivery of hosting requirement
- Utilize custom monitoring software and an internal ticketing system to provide customer support
- Ensure data center policies and procedures follow customer and service provider standards
- Ability to research, order, test, and select new technology products for data center solution
delivery - Provide inventory tracking and updating to maintain a valid count of materials and supplies
- Monitor and respond to environmental, security, and equipment monitoring systems along with
hardware and network repair - Have functional knowledge of (ISP) disciplines, including fiber optic and electrical cabling,
labelling, and lacing conforming to telecom industry standards
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any technical-related field
· 7+ years’ experience in a network engineer role
· CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP certifications are a must
· Shift- 24*7
