Job Description:
As an SEO Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in developing, implementing, and refining our SEO strategies. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering organic growth through SEO, with expertise in on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and data-driven analysis. You’ll collaborate closely with the content, web development, and digital marketing teams to achieve optimal ranking and visibility across major search engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development:
- Design and implement SEO strategies that align with business goals.
- Conduct thorough competitive and keyword research to guide content and optimization.
- On-Page & Off-Page Optimization:
- Optimize website content, meta tags, images, and URLs for SEO.
- Manage and build high-quality link-building strategies.
- Ensure effective on-page and off-page optimization for improved search engine performance.
- Technical SEO:
- Conduct technical site audits and fix issues such as crawl errors, broken links, page speed, mobile usability, and schema markup.
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
- Content Strategy & Optimization:
- Partner with the content team to create and optimize content that aligns with SEO goals.
- Suggest topics, keywords, and formats that improve SEO and engage target audiences.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track, analyse, and report on SEO metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, and conversion rates.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc., to measure and improve performance.
- Stay Updated on SEO Trends:
- Keep up with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and emerging tools.
- Recommend adjustments based on updates in search engine algorithms or industry shifts.
Requirements:
- Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SEO with a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- Technical SEO Knowledge: Understanding of technical SEO elements such as page speed, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills to interpret SEO performance metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying insights to non-technical team members.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
