Job Description:

The Social Media Executive will support our social media strategy by creating engaging content, managing posts, and running targeted promotions. This entry-level role is perfect for a creative individual with a passion for social media, content creation, and digital marketing, and who has some knowledge of paid advertising and lead generation via LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
    • Assist in planning and creating engaging social media content, including graphics, captions, videos, and stories, that align with the brand voice and objectives.
    • Stay updated with current social media trends and tools to produce content that appeals to the target audience.
  2. Social Media Posting & Management:
    • Manage daily posting across all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and others.
    • Schedule and optimize posts for maximum reach, engagement, and visibility.
  3. Promotion & Paid Ads:
    • Support paid social media campaigns by creating and managing ads, especially on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
    • Monitor ad performance, analyse results, and make data-driven adjustments to improve ad ROI.
  4. Branding & Engagement:
    • Help maintain and enhance brand consistency and identity across social media channels.
    • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and participate in online conversations to build a loyal community.
  5. Lead Generation with LinkedIn Sales Navigator:
    • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and generate new leads, supporting the sales team in reaching potential clients.
    • Track and report on LinkedIn lead generation efforts and conversion rates.
  6. Reporting & Analysis:
    • Track social media KPIs and prepare monthly reports on performance, growth, engagement, and lead generation.
    • Use analytics tools to gain insights and make recommendations for optimizing social media strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 year of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and social media tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Paid Ads: Some experience with paid social ads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Lead Generation: Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead generation.
  • Creativity: Strong creative skills with an eye for design, content, and storytelling.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
